Actor and Model Rahul Kishore Tewadi (also credited as Rahul Tiwari) was born and brought up in south New Delhi, graduating from Delhi University with a B.A in Pol. Science.

His Acting and Modelling career began with some fashion shows and television advertisements within New Delhi.

Rahul later made a move to Mumbai to continue in this line of work. Starting life there with some magazine shoots, press modelling and fashion shows. Additionally he joined ISKCON THEATRE and acted in plays such as "Krishna sudama and Krishna". Rahul soon moved into commercial cinema including a role in a few Bollywood style movies (N. chandra) MUDDHA (Shaurabh shukla) FIGHT CLUB (Shohail khan). And also enjoyed acting in the music album of VENUS.

Perhaps Rahul's most notable performance came when BBC LONDON offered him the lead role in THE LIFE OF BUDDHA as the DALAI LAMA. With both English and Hindi Language versions, this has been seen by many international audiences around the world.

Since this documentary Rahul continues with both his Modelling and Acting work in Mumbai. He is keen to work more in the film industry and would particularly like the opportunity to work for BBC again, either in the UK or his home country.
