Rahul has volunteered with PeerCorps TeenAIDS mission. Keeping in contact with the organiser Dr. John Chittick and continuing to raise awareness of AIDS.

Rahul helped as a volunteer guide in Mumbai, Pune and the rural countryside. Rahul joined Dr. John Chittick during Diwali, speaking to youth in the streets. Aiming to teach them how to prevent the spread of AIDS in their country, as well as breaking down the stigma caused by an ignorance of the disease, which leaves many victims and their children rejected by family and neighbours, and even some hospitals.
